When you need overnight care for your dog(s) allow us to welcome them into our family home. They will be provided with their own room (if they need to have their own space during their stay), toys and enrichment games, 2 daily walks with one being at least 40 minutes play-time, cuddles, and socialisation with our resident dogs as well as with other dogs from the ‘Claire-Bear’s gang’ dog walking part of the business. We are a very relaxed household and will provide plenty of snuggles on the sofa for your dog whilst they are staying with us. If your pooch needs some night time comfort at the foot of a bed we can always find some room upstairs (no dogs will be allowed to sleep on the bed)
We provided your dog with a holiday of its own and can send daily updates will put your mind at ease.
Making a new booking
A booking shall be made by completing a booking form along with the signed terms and conditions, veterinary release form, owner consent and any other forms that may need to be completed. The booking is not accepted until the service provider has provided the client a confirmation email with the agreed quoted price.
To secure your booking a 30% non-refundable booking fee is required within 7 days of receiving the confirmation email.
Full payment will be required 14 days prior to date of arrival.
For new clients, a consultation and temperament review by the service provider will be required. This will be by means of your dog staying for an overnight trial at Claire-Bears Doggy Daycare and Home Boarding on a mutually agreed date and period of time. The usual overnight boarding fee of £30 will be applicable. Claire-Bears Doggy Daycare and Home Boarding has the right to terminate the trial session at any time should we feel that the dog is not suitable for our care setting and/or we feel they or other dogs and/or people are at risk. In this case we will contact you to collect your dog immediately. You must be available to collect your dog at any time during the trial stay so please do not plan anything too far from home. We recommend booking the trial night as soon as possible so that you have plenty of time to find an alternative boarder if it does not work out. We also recommend booking the trial stay at the same time as the main longer stay as we are not able to hold/reserve dates.
For all regular boarding clients, bookings may be accepted up to 24hrs before service begins but payment in full will be required for all bookings made less than 14 days before service begins.
Drop off on day of arrival to be arrange prior to booking
Pick-up time is 8am-10am on collection day. If you require a different collection time a £10 fee will be added for collections up to 12pm, and after 12pm a full day’s fee will be added to the booking.
There is no price reduction for late drop-offs and early pick-ups, these days count as full days.
Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve are charged at double the standard rate
Already part of the Claire-Bear’s Gang?
It is not necessary to visit us before your dog’s stay if you have already had a trial assessment and your dog is already part of the Claire-Bear’s gang just contact us for availability
Pup Requirements to stay at Claire-Bears:
All dogs must be fully house trained and fully vaccinated (including kennel cough).
We are unable to take aggressive dogs or dogs with behavioural issues including separation anxiety.
All dogs must have basic training
All males must be neutered
We are unable to take bitches in season. If your dog comes into season before or during their stay they will not be allowed on the premises. You will need to arrange alternative care and collect them immediately. In this scenario no payment will be refunded.
